‘MasterChef’ foods critic Charles Campion dies aged 69

MasterChef meals critic Charles Campion has died aged 69, his daughter has confirmed.

The food items reviewer was recognized for his lots of appearances on the BBC cooking contest’s numerous collection and spin-offs, with colleagues together with Michel Roux Jr and Jay Rayner paying out tribute to him.

On Boxing Working day, Campion’s daughter Ashley shared the sad news on Twitter.

She wrote: “Sadly my father Charles Campion passed absent on the 23rd December 2020. He was a fantastic father, good friend and spouse.

“Everyone who came into contact with him came away a minimal greater for it. Like you Dad!”

Rayner, a typical MasterChef critic alongside Campion, paid tribute to his pal and colleague.
