Authorized Sea Foods restaurant chain marketed to PPX Hospitality

BOSTON (AP) — The Boston-based cafe chain Legal Sea Foodstuff has been sold, Legal’s main govt explained Tuesday.

Legal’s 25 spots will now be operated by Boston-based PPX Hospitality Brand names, which owns the Smith & Wollensky steakhouse dining places and Strega Italian restaurants, according to a statement.

“It’s a little bit of combined emotions,” Lawful President and CEO Roger Berkowitz told Boston.com. “It was a relatives organization — significantly a family small business that deals instantly with the general public. 1 of the great factors, I suppose, about the restaurant enterprise in common is that you come in speak to with so many individuals from so a lot of walks of daily life.”

Berkowitz will retain possession rights of the Legal Sea Foodstuff name for the company’s e-commerce and retail company.
