My get: I’d not been to the preceding downtown spot to practical experience some of its fare described as contemporary coastal Italian delicacies so was keen to encounter the menu at the new west facet place. I requested the wild mushroom ravioli ($17) explained as consisting of goat cheese, ricotta, parmesan and mushroom hand-stuffed ravioli oyster and shitake mushrooms leek balsamic reduction wild mushroom and truffle product sugo (sauce) spinach. The on the internet photo looked delightful.

Likes: The sensitive ravioli had a creamy filling.

Dislikes: Presentation. Though carryout lacks the plating aesthetics of dine-in, a much larger container with the four ravioli spaced out and a minimal garnish would have produced for a superior visual enchantment and justification of the price per chunk. It lacked the charm and glance of the dish portrayed online. The mushrooms ended up a tiny salty, and I could not detect any spinach. I’m hoping this practical experience was a fluke and would give it yet another opportunity.
