Valentine’s Day restaurant options around Connecticut

These Connecticut restaurants offer plenty of ways to spoil your Valentines this year, whether it’s a romantic evening out or a relaxed takeout night at home.

Boca Oyster Bar in Bridgeport and Metro Kitchen and Bar in Fairfield offers Valentine’s specials Feb. 13 and 14, with entree choices like surf and turf with lobster tail and filet mignon; sesame-crusted ahi tuna and stuffed chicken breast ($26 to $50.) The Capital Grille, with locations in Stamford and Hartford, offers a three-course takeout menu for Valentine’s at home, with salad, rolls, surf and turf (butter-poached lobster tails and filet mignon), grilled asparagus, potatoes and desserts. The three-course menu features appetizers of grilled prawns or goose liver pate; entree of pan-seared scallops or filet of beef, and a chef’s chocolate tasting for dessert.
