Teenager billed with murder of Brighton cafe owner
A 17-year-old boy has been billed with the murder of a well known cafe owner in Brighton.
The teen is accused of stabbing 69-calendar year-old Susan Addis to dying at her property in Cedar Gardens, Withdean.
Ms Addis, who ran Donatello’s Italian cafe, was observed lifeless at the household at around 7pm on Thursday.
Her spouse and children said in a assertion issued through police: “At this quite unhappy and distressing time, the family kindly asks that all media regard their privacy. The family members are at this time in a condition of shock”.
Brighton MP Caroline Lucas explained Ms Addis as a “particular existence” as she compensated tribute to the grandmother’s fundraising initiatives in the town.
