Pilgrim’s Pleasure, owned predominantly by Brazil’s JBS SA, will pay out $75 million to settle claims by purchasers that acquired chickens immediately from the firm. The size of Tyson’s settlement with the very same purchasers was not disclosed.

Neither business admitted liability, and both explained settling was in their best pursuits.
