(Reuters) – Pilgrim’s Pleasure Corp and Tyson Foods Inc stated on Monday they have settled rate-correcting litigation by a team of poultry prospective buyers that accused them of violating U.S. antitrust law by conspiring to inflate rooster charges.

Pilgrim’s Satisfaction, owned primarily by Brazil’s JBS SA, will pay back $75 million to settle statements by purchasers that bought chickens specifically from the organization. The dimensions of Tyson’s settlement with the exact same purchasers was not disclosed.
