Major Weather’s large recipe: Cornflake hen

This 7 days we go on our salute to ABC11 pioneer, Peggy Mann and her recipes with Cornflake Rooster.

Out of all the matters I prepare dinner, I normally screw up fried hen. It is my nemesis in the foods planet. So when I see a rooster recipe with a great crust I’ll test it out. I am going to give you my feelings on this 1950s recipe afterward, but for now, let us get cooking!

Ingredients

1 fryer hen, slice up
1 Cup of Cornflake crumbs
1 1/2 t of Salt
1 T Paprika
1/2 Cup Evaporated Milk
1 T yellow mustard
2 t vinegar

1/2 t warm sauce (the recipe calls for Tabasco, I applied Cholula)
1/2 t Worcestershire sauce
1/4 butter (or margarine), melted

Preparing
1. Line a cookie sheet with aluminum foil
2.Incorporate cornflakes, salt and paprika
3.Combing evaporated milk, mustard, vinegar, incredibly hot sauce and Worcestershire sauce

4.Dip hen in milk mixture then roll in the cornflakes.
5.Location skin facet up on foil lined pan
6.Drizzle butter more than the hen
7.Bake at 350 levels for about an hour
8.Take out from oven and provide.
9.Leftovers may be reheated in the more than at 350 levels for 30 minutes

That is it. So what did I find out. Perfectly, I would wait to insert the salt and paprika. Go ahead and roll it in the cornflakes, then sprinkle those around the leading just after you’ve got drizzled with butter. It appeared to me that these seasonings just failed to get on the chicken when I rolled it in it. Normally it experienced a excellent taste and I preferred it.
