The 7 providers were being:

Arsenic, lead and cadmium had been existing in newborn food items created by all the responding firms.

Mercury was detected in little one meals of the only responding business, Nurture, that analyzed for it.

Beech-Nut and Hain do not even check for mercury in toddler meals, while Gerber rarely tests for mercury in its baby food stuff, in accordance to the report.

The report recommends that the Food and drug administration set optimum ranges of harmful significant metals permitted in newborn foods and require organizations to test their concluded items — not just their numerous components — for the metals.
