Howard County kicks off Winter Restaurant Weeks amid coronavirus pandemic

Howard County restaurant week normally brings big business to the city’s bars and restaurants.

Despite coronavirus safeguards that limit in-person dining, County Executive Calvin Ball said that shouldn’t stop people from patronizing their favorite places.

“This restaurant weeks, it’s up to us to look out for them. Please patronize these restaurants, stay COVID safe and let’s hope and pray that by our next restaurant weeks, it’ll be safe to gather and fill these restaurants and share a meal as friends and as family,” Ball said.

Howard County’s Winter Restaurant Weeks and Craft Beverages runs through Jan. 31.

More than 32 restaurants and craft beverage vendors will take part. Many more are expected to participate:
