BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — In this week’s Foodie Friday, 23ABC’s Kallyn Hobmann teamed up with her father, Steve Hobmann, to present us some of their preferred holiday getaway drinks.
Cranberry Whiskey Sours
Ingredients:
- 2 cups new cranberries
- 2 cups drinking water
- 2 cups sugar
- 2 cinnamon sticks
- 1/4 cup lemon juice
- 1/4 cup lime juice
- 1/4 cup orange juice
- 3/4 cup whiskey
Mix two cups of fresh cranberries, two cups of contemporary water and two cups of sugar in a medium saucepan. Incorporate two cinnamon sticks and provide that to a boil.
Reduce to a simmer for about ten minutes and wait around for the cranberries to open up. Then pour the cranberry mixture above a significant strainer to build a syrup.
Once the syrup is cooled, combine 3/4 cups of the syrup with 1/4 cup of lemon juice, 1/4 cup of lime juice, 1/4 cup of orange juice and 3/4 cup of your beloved whiskey all in a cocktail mixer with ice.
Shake, pour into your cup, and love!

To start with slice the orange into slim slices.
