Grandma’s Recipes in Flint buying up the items just after car crashes into restaurant
FLINT, MI — Tom and Vicki Campbell are picking up the parts after a motor vehicle crashed into their cafe that they poured their lives into and opened 25 many years ago.
About 3 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 10, a white, four-doorway Chevrolet was headed west on Richfield Highway when it hit Grandma’s Recipes, 3538 Richfield Street, on the south facet of the highway, at the corner of Richfield Street and Huggins Avenue. The crash left a gaping gap and scattered debris.
The cafe is briefly shut, Tom Campbell mentioned.
The driver is considered to have had a health-related situation that prompted them to swerve off the highway, Campbell claimed the law enforcement shared with him. The driver of the vehicle wasn’t very seriously hurt, he reported.
“What else can materialize in 2020?” Campbell requested after examining footage of the crash.

Like most dining establishments adhering to the state’s ban on indoor eating, the company was only open up for take-out, which is about a quarter of the business enterprise they typically do.
