A well-liked restaurant group in the Chapel Hill and Durham neighborhood has introduced its newest venture.
The Giorgios Hospitality & Lifestyle Team shared on its Fb web site Thursday it will open a new cafe into house at 201 South Elliott Road in Chapel Hill. Named Osteria Georgi, which translates to George’s Tavern, the ownership group describes the new undertaking as “a modern day Italian Eatery and Garden” that will give dishes like home-designed pasta and braised meats.

The room, found in close proximity to the Village Plaza shopping center, formerly housed the Living Kitchen area cafe, which shut in late 2019.
Owner Giorgios Bakatsias indicated a new restaurant enterprise for the way of living group was in the functions following the closing of Town Kitchen area and exit from University Position in September.
