JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Free wellbeing screenings, food and music will be made available tomorrow thanks to a community come together hosted by Jacksonville Overall health and Academic Resource Middle.

The party will be held tomorrow from 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. at 1024 Edgewood Avenue West in Jacksonville.

Feeding Northeast Florida, APEL Overall health Products and services, Hope Across the World are also lending their assist to for the occasion.

The Jacksonville Wellbeing and Instruction Resource Centre (JH-ERC) is a new neighborhood-primarily based firm remaining created to deal with racial disparities in well being in northwest Jacksonville as a result of a local community-centered solution.

JH-REC is dedicated to offering this local community with schooling, resources, and linkage to treatment companies via:

1. Prevention, Outreach, and Training – Neighborhood prevention and outreach companies like testing, counseling, referrals, and scientific diagnostic providers regarding reactive standing
2. HIV/STI testing – cost-free, private, counseling providers to anyone age 13 and about.
3. Linkage to services for material abuse, HIV/STIs, and Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis (PrEP).
4. Continued partnership with Feeding NEFL, for quarterly meals giveaways.
