Chicago, Suburban Cook dinner County Can Resume Indoor Dining. Here is What That Means

Chicago and suburban Cook County can resume indoor dining right after health and fitness officers claimed the regions can transfer to Tier 1 coronavirus mitigations Saturday.

As part of the shift down to Tier 1, bars and restaurants can permit indoor support at 25% capability or 25 persons for each place with no tables exceeding 4 persons, according to the Illinois Section of Community Wellness.

“As we enter this future phase, I once again simply call on all firms and people to make absolutely sure we continue on going forward by following the suggestions for secure indoor dining and committing to the protection safeguards that helped us flatten the curve a second time,” the mayor included.

IDPH declared Saturday that Regions 10 and 11, which incorporate Chicago and suburban Cook County, can go down from Tier 2 mitigations centered on current metrics.
