The Catholic Charities of the Diocese of Albany and the Regional Food Bank will be working to distribute food throughout the month of January to those experiencing food insecurity.
First, the organizations will be giving out food on Thursday, Dec. 31, beginning at 9:30 a.m. at 833 Broadway in Albany.
All January distributions will take place at various locations throughout the Capital Region and, unless otherwise noted, will begin at 9:30 a.m. There will be drive-thru and walk-up lines at each site.
The food items will be provided by the Regional Food Bank and packaged by volunteers from several partnering organizations, the Catholic Charities of Diocese of Albany said.
No pre-registration is required, and all events are open to the public.
Here is the distribution schedule for January:
Jan. 6 – Hoosick Falls Central School, 21187 Route 22, Hoosick Falls at Noon
Jan. 8 – Boys and Girls Club, 544 Broadway, Rensselaer at 9:30 a.m.
