Atrium Health cancels 97 worker COVID-19 vaccinations
Atrium Wellbeing stated Thursday it has canceled 97 planned COVID-19 vaccinations for workforce who usually are not on the front traces of the pandemic.
CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Atrium Wellness confirmed that 97 worker-scheduled COVID-19 vaccinations have been canceled after they found out all those vaccinations were planned ahead of personnel on the front traces were in a position to get theirs.
Atrium created the announcement after WCNC Charlotte discovered non-health care personnel have been scheduled to acquire vaccinations. In accordance to the North Carolina Section of Wellbeing and Human Services, “Stage 1a vaccines will initially go to health care staff critical to caring for patients with COVID-19 or at higher risk for COVID-19 publicity mainly because of their work obligations.”
