WHEAT RIDGE, Colo. (CBS4) — Dozens of families bought a delectable, free meal sent right to their doorways on Thursday, thanks to an anonymous donor, a community restaurant and Denver law enforcement officers.

Here’s how it took place: an nameless donor gave Grammy’s Italian Goodies in Wheat Ridge $2,000 — and questioned the entrepreneurs to make foodstuff for deserving family members.

The house owners contacted the Denver Police Office and requested them to decide who must get the meals. Police went just one phase further — they sent the food stuff on Thursday afternoon.
